Submitting a notice
Send a notice to [email protected] with the exact transfer or request link. Identify the exact file or location, clearly explain the issue, give your name and email, and confirm your good-faith belief that the information is accurate and complete. For notices concerning child sexual abuse or exploitation offences covered by Articles 3 to 7 of Directive 2011/93/EU, you may omit your name and email. Do not download, copy or attach suspected material to make a notice.
You may also use the notice form on the transfer or request page without a WideTransfer account. Online submission returns a reference number, which you should keep. The reference does not give public access to the case record.
Receipt and decision
Email notices are assessed by a human in a timely, careful and objective way. We may request clarification. We provide an acknowledgement and decision update using the available contact address. Online notices receive a reference on the submission page. Supported acknowledgements and notifications are sent by email when a contact address is available. Assessment and reasoned decisions require human handling. Email delivery may be delayed or fail. Keep the reference or your email and link for follow-up. Submission does not trigger automatic deletion.
A decision explains the restriction, relevant facts and applicable law or term. We consider affected rights and proportionality. Owners are informed according to applicable obligations without automatic disclosure of the reporter’s identity. A lawful non-disclosure requirement or court order is assessed separately.
Reconsideration and remedies
Reporters and affected owners can request free human reconsideration at [email protected], providing the link, previous email, their explanation and any new evidence. A reconsideration request is recorded and does not itself lift a restriction. We notify you of the new decision. Lifting a restriction does not restore deleted files or remove another independent restriction. Completing our internal process is not a prerequisite for exercising a legal right of redress.
You may complain about a suspected DSA infringement to the competent Digital Services Coordinator, in Greece EETT, and seek judicial redress. Applicable statutory out-of-court remedies remain available. Our internal process does not limit your legal rights.
Preserving evidence
Files may be preserved with restricted access for a documented review or legal obligation. Preservation has an expiry and is reviewed before renewal. Any report to a competent authority requires an authorised human assessment of the applicable duty; material is not automatically sent to authorities.
